Clinton County Courthouse
LOCATION: Plattsburg, Missouri
DESCRIPTION: Clinton County needed exterior and interior improvements made to their courthouse. On the outside, we replaced their roof and windows, restored brick masonry, added new steel framing, drywall, and paint, and made improvements to the landscaping. Inside, we updated their secure entrance, lighting, and repainted.

Johnson County Theatre in the Park
LOCATION: Shawnee, KS
DESCRIPTION: Two new outdoor restrooms were constructed for Theatre in the Park. This work also includes a new ADA parking lot and sidewalks.

DESCRIPTION: Renovation of existing 2,4000 SF park shelter with associated landscape and paving for Shelter 10 in Shawnee Mission Park.

Antioch Park Shelter

DESCRIPTION: A new retaining wall and stairs were constructed outside of the park's admin entry and a new ADA sidewalk, water fountain, and storage area were installed at Shelter 1.

Bourbon County Jail
LOCATION: Fort Scott, Kansas
DESCRIPTION: The project is a 24,000 SF facility composed of 78 beds. The new facility includes a booking room, administration offices, medical office, laundry room, kitchen, and a
vehicle Sally Port, with a shelled space for future expansion of an additional 20 beds. The new cells installed were double occupancy prefabricated steel cells.

Douglas County Jail
LOCATION: Lawrence, Kansas
DESCRIPTION: This three story, 113,706 SF 196 bed detention facility features: 56 bed dormitory style work release unit, 28 bed unit for women, 28 bed minimum security unit, 56 bed medium security unit, 28 bed maximum security unit, and 4 bed medical unit. Support facilities include laundry, kitchen, administration, booking, central plant and high security courtroom.

Bates County Jail and Admin Center
LOCATION: Butler, Missouri
DESCRIPTION: The first project which consists of a jail expansion that’s approximately 939 SF of renovation work that includes revamping a sally port into additional individual holding cells, relocation of security doors, renovation of existing venting system and addition of a new sally port onto the north side of the existing building. It will also include a 6,636 SF addition. This addition will be a separate building attached to the existing jail via a connection corridor to the
old indoor recreation area. The second project is the renovation of an existing building for additional administration space for the courthouse. This building is approximately 100 X 100 and includes all interior utilities associated with renovation and a partial renovation of the basement that will require some demolition.

JOHNSON COUNTY JUSTICE CENTER
LOCATION: Lawrence, Kansas
DESCRIPTION: This project consisted of remodeling a three-story existing building and to construct a new building. The new building consisted of twenty detention cells, three courtrooms, a lobby, three story D.A.’s Office, Sheriffs Office, and administrative areas. This was a jail addition that was built onto the current facility and connected the old with the new.

ATCHISON COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER
LOCATION: Atchison, Kansas
DESCRIPTION: This Construction Management project included a 20,400 SF addition and a 5,250 SF renovation of the existing jail. The facility houses 72 inmates in four classifications utilizing an indirect supervision inmate management plan. The project also includes Detention Housing Support, Sheriff’s Department Offices, 911
Communication Center, and other support services.

WILSON COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER
LOCATION: Atchison, Kansas
DESCRIPTION: This project consisted of a new 31,000 SF law enforcement center that provides 78 detention beds, an administration wing designed to handle 30 employees, and site
improvements made to allow for future jail enhancements and potential county industrial expansion on the adjacent properties. A 14 month construction project utilizing a considerable amount of local and smaller community contractors. UCC successfully implemented and carried out a program that guided and allowed the taxpayers to stay involved, while providing the expertise and security that the commissioners demand for their county.

JOHNSON COUNTY DETENTION CENTER
LOCATION: New Century, Kansas
DESCRIPTION: A 168,000 SF medium security facility and 40,000 SF Sheriffs office, located on a 100+ acre site, in two separate buildings. The project incorporated 264 beds and includes the detention facility for up to 264 inmates with the central plant, administration offices, kitchen, laundry, multi-purpose areas, intake and release areas, medical and psychiatry treatment, visitation and video arrangement designed to accommodate up to 528 inmates.

Johnson County Admin Building
LOCATION: Olathe, Kansas
DESCRIPTION: This new building was designed to incorporate many of the architectural features of the 1892 courthouse, which was demolished in 1952. It serves as the seat of the County Government, housing the Board of County Commissioners’ Offices and is the location for all BOCC meetings, as well
as most of the non-judicial public hearings.
