Ivan Bowlin

Ivan serves as Vice President of Preconstruction and brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including 17 years with Universal Construction. A United States Army Veteran and graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Construction Technology Management, Ivan brings a disciplined and detail-oriented approach to project planning, budgeting, and preconstruction services.

Specializing in preconstruction, Ivan oversees estimating, budgeting, bidding activities, value engineering, constructability reviews, and schedule development. His experience with LEED-certified projects and early project planning helps owners and project teams identify opportunities, manage costs, and establish realistic expectations before construction begins.

Throughout his career, Ivan has provided estimating and preconstruction services for numerous school districts, municipalities, and public entities throughout Kansas and Missouri. His collaborative approach and attention to detail help establish clear budgets, schedules, and project goals, creating a strong foundation for successful project delivery.

Outside of work, Ivan enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandson. He is an avid Chiefs and Royals fan, enjoys traveling and tackling DIY projects, and can often be found supporting his family at sporting events. Ivan is also an active member of Fellowship of Grace Church and values the relationships he builds both within the community and throughout the construction industry.
