Ivan Bowlin

Ivan is Vice President of Preconstruction with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including 17 years with Universal Construction. A United States Army Veteran with a background in Construction Technology Management from Kansas State University, Ivan brings a disciplined and detail oriented approach to preconstruction and project planning.

Ivan specializes in preconstruction services, overseeing budgeting, estimating, bidding activities, value engineering, constructability reviews, and schedule development. His experience with LEED accredited projects and early project planning allows teams to identify opportunities, manage costs, and align expectations before construction begins. He works closely with owners, architects, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure projects are set up for long term success from the earliest stages.

Throughout his career, Ivan has provided estimating and preconstruction services for numerous school districts and public entities across the region. His collaborative approach and attention to detail help establish clear budgets, schedules, and expectations early in the project process.

Outside of work, Ivan enjoys spending time with his family and staying involved in his community.
