Cameron Smith

Cameron brings over 17 years of experience with Universal Construction, where he serves as the company’s Equipment Manager and supports many of the day to day operational needs that keep projects and field teams moving efficiently.

 As a member of Laborers Local 1290, Cameron brings a hands on and solutions driven approach to supporting the company’s equipment, vehicles, and operational systems.

Known around the office and jobsites as the person who can fix just about anything, Cameron plays an important role in supporting field staff and helping ensure equipment and vehicles remain operational and ready for use.

 He oversees the Universal equipment division and works behind the scenes to coordinate repairs, maintenance, and operational support across the company. His reliability, problem solving mindset, and willingness to help wherever needed make him an essential part of the Universal Construction team.

Outside of work, Cameron enjoys spending time with his two kids, being at the lake with family and friends, and playing music as part of a band.
