Alex Johnson

Field Manager

Alex is a Field Manager with 7 years of experience in the construction industry, including 3 years with Universal Construction. A graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in Construction Management, he brings a detail-oriented and proactive approach to field operations, helping ensure projects remain safe, organized, and on schedule throughout construction.

Alex works closely with owners, architects, contractors, and project teams to coordinate day-to-day field activities while maintaining a strong focus on quality, communication, and jobsite safety. He takes pride in ensuring work is completed to the standards of Universal Construction, the design team, and project owners while helping coordinate project phasing, deliveries, mobilization, and quality control efforts.


Throughout his career, Alex has supported a variety of education, commercial, and community-focused projects. His certifications and field experience allow him to effectively manage project logistics, support field teams, and maintain consistent project execution from start to finish.


Outside of work, Alex is an active member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is also a strong supporter of the Blue Springs School District, where his wife serves as an elementary music teacher and technician for the Blue Springs Golden Regiment Marching Band.
